This role combines attentive food and beverage service with bartending responsibilities to help create seamless, memorable experiences for guests and clients. Responsibilities

• Set up banquet and event spaces according to event specifications and service standards.
• Provide courteous, efficient food and beverage service during meetings, receptions, banquets, and special events.
• Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established recipes, procedures, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, bars, carts, and storage spaces throughout each event.
• Assist with pre-event preparation, including glassware, linen, beverage stations, and equipment setup.
• Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Support team members by clearing, resetting, and breaking down event spaces efficiently.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol compliance standards.
• Process beverage transactions accurately when required and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Communicate effectively with banquet leadership, culinary teams, and fellow service staff to ensure smooth event execution.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet service, catering, restaurant service, or bartending preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-oriented environment with a high level of professionalism.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices and local beverage service regulations.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and move quickly for extended periods during events.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied schedules based on event needs.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle point-of-sale or cash transactions when needed.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hotel banquets, conference services, or upscale event hospitality.
• Familiarity with wine, beer, and classic cocktail service.
• Understanding of banquet setup, tray service, and plated or buffet-style service procedures.
• Certification in responsible beverage service or equivalent training, if applicable.
