Hotel Front Desk Associate
We are seeking a personable and detail-oriented professional to join our guest services team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, helping create a welcoming and efficient experience from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate is organized, service-focused, and able to communicate clearly in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous service at the front desk
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently
- Answer guest questions, resolve concerns, and provide information about property amenities and local attractions
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the property management system
- Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to support guest needs
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and front desk inquiries in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front desk area
- Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and security protocols
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and reservations
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning hotel software systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
